I’m a full-stack software engineer with over five years of experience shipping production systems that businesses depend on. Today I build anti-money laundering (AML), KYC, and fraud detection technology at eSpear LLC. Before that, I worked on Cambio’s COSMIC, an e-healthcare platform used across Scandinavia, and on CodeGen’s TravelBox™, the reservations engine behind major tour operators, airlines, and cruise lines.
My core stack is Java and Spring on the backend with Angular on the front end, and I work comfortably across the full lifecycle: designing APIs, modeling data in SQL and MongoDB, deploying to AWS and OCI, and delivering interfaces people actually enjoy using. Alongside enterprise work, I’ve delivered 25+ five-star freelance projects covering automation, web scraping, and full web applications, and I run DebuggerMe, a live suite of browser-based developer tools built with Next.js.

Named entity recognition for Colombo Stock Exchange news, trained on a hand-annotated corpus of Sri Lankan financial reporting. Extracts listed companies, ticker symbols, regulators, indices, and monetary amounts, which general-purpose models flatten into one label or miss entirely. The better of two fine-tuned transformers scores 0.921 F1 on a held-out test set.
